It’s the 11th today, and yesterday the 10th
was the school’s graduation dinner. It’s been 3 years since I graduated from
high school. The year has gone by so quickly and I feel as I haven’t changed at
all. It was just like yesterday was the first day I got into high school. Old
classmates start to get further apart. 5 years of relationship gone like the
wind but thank god I still have the lads with me. Even though we have different
semester breaks, but we still manage to hang when we were all in the same city.
Something I will always cherish, before we all get jobs, get married and be
boring. By then, everyone will have their own commitment and shit they have to
do. Two of the gang got all bruised up before the finals started by unfortunate
events. But as usual, my boys were strong enough to make it and manage to hang
at Yusra(a mamak stall) before we all continued with our finals. Nash managed
to get his hands on a Hublot to replace his old Breitling, lucky bastard. I was
filled with envy the time he showed me his little new friend but still, but it’s
better to land someone else’s wrist. Enough of the watch talking. Been
listening to a lot of Arctic Monkeys lately, sorry The NBHD. My favourite song
is Mardy Bum by AM. Fell in love with this band after listening to their song
Do I Wanna Know. Hope the band keeps producing the same great songs that are
worthy enough to be a part of my playlist song. Got my muet speaking test on
the 13th, so I’m sorta looking forward to get that over with and
proceeding with my last paper on the 17th and semester break it is.
This semester break, I’m planning to go on with my eating clean diet. Less
carbs for 6 days, and cheat meal means I can gobble up all the carbs I can lay
my hands on to refuel for the week. Also hoping my usual morning jogs will be
filled cute girls getting their sweat on. It’s too early to hope for this and
that, just a safety measure to not get disappointed when other shit happens,
like life commitments and the weather. Also looking forward to meet the aussie
looking girl at the park in the evening on my evening jog sessions. This semester
break I hope to be able to finish reading all the unfinished books that I bought,
get my body fat percentage to go down, be more productive in terms of not
staying in the room and let the social life take me away and lastly is to stop
smoking. Quitted smoking for a year once I left high school and the college
life made me get back to this bad habit. Starting to feel the impact the
tobacco brings.
